LIFE GROUPS EXPLAINED

At Macquarie we believe that Life Groups are the best setting for cultivatiing friendships and serving our vision of Loving Others within Macquarie. We have three different styles of groups, Home Groups, Connect Groups and Equipping Groups.

Life Group Types

This is a structured group run by a leader with 8-10 people in it. It can cover a topic of interest that the group wants to explore or a study of a specific Bible book.
This is a group with less structure and has 3 -6 people. It is guided by a facilitator and includes connecting, journaling and praying for each other.
This style of group can be eight or more people. These groups are based around a specific topic with material that will teach and enable you, i.e. Careforce Courses, Thrive, Fall in love stay in love, Pre Marriage course, Macquarie Bible Study Group etc.
Careforce Lifekeys programs address the issues of ordinary people, dealing with every day life. Lifekeys is also a profoundly important tool towards your personal health and leadership development.

Life Group Update
It has been a great start to the year for Life Groups with an influx of new groups! We have seven new connect groups up and running, a new Home Group and a Scuba Diving group! I want to say a special thank you to Tony & Debbie Kirchner for answering the call for more Home Group Leaders, you guys are legends.
 
New Group
A New Ladies Group has started fortnightly on a Tuesday at the Church from 10:00am-11.30am. Come along to connect, grow and impact your world –everyone welcome. When: Tuesday, 3 April and fortnightly from Tuesday, 24 April. Ring Karyn Kempfe for more details on 0401 057 841.
